We were fortunate to be joined by Dave Jury from Forest of Dean community radio station, Triangle Radio at the Lydbrook Band quarry performance last month.  As well as recording the two pieces for the station’s ‘Strike up the Brass’ and ‘Forest Weekly’ programmes, Dave interviewed our managing director, Nick Horton.

The interview gives insight into the story behind the sponsorship deal and details of the Stone Firms’, from its heritage to the stone itself.  The item featured during the ‘Forest Weekly’ on Friday 16th June (5-7PM).  A variation also aired during ‘Strike up the Brass’ on Tuesday 13th, featuring Lydbrook Band secretary, Robert Morgan and the band’s performance of Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 (Land of Hope & Glory), also recorded live at Barnhill Quarry.
