Stone Show 2017 – Review

The Architect’s and Designer’s Day was the highlight of this year’s Natural Stone Show. Partnering with Albion Stone we sponsored the day’s lunch which saw 140 delegates enjoy a complementary three-course meal. This provided a valuable networking opportunity for our managing director, Nick Horton representing our commercial brand, Forest Pennant.
An exhibition tour then followed. Hosted by Vincent Marazita, the delegates visited our stand in two groups and listened to a brief presentation from Nick via headsets. All of the participants received a limited edition reprint of the United Stone Firms book and a Pennant sandstone coaster.
While the show organisers reported an increase in footfall on the 2015 event, we found the show to be quieter than in previous years. We did however secure a number of potentially lucrative leads and enjoyed the boost from the Architect’s and Designer’s Day sponsorship.
