Forest Pennant steps are created to bespoke dimensions.
Cut using our profiling saws, and shaped by our skilled banker masons we have created bespoke stone steps for a technology giant, an iconic London railway station, a private school and a rather special churchyard in South Wales…amongst many others…
Our steps are all made to order in response to design and specification requirements.
An economic alternative to our steps, treads and risers can be produced separately for a cost effective solution.
We are experienced in Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance and recommend the insertion of a magma resin strip. The strip is typically 55mm wide and set back 35mm from the nose of the step, creating a 90mm back-line. The strip is recessed 8mm and sits 1mm proud providing extra traction and a noticeable change in surface texture.
Please note that steps, treads and risers are costed per linear metre (LM), or when applicable, as complete sets.
