Hazard Paving

Hazard Paving

Hazard Paving

Forest Pennant offers three types of hazard paving; barface, blister and corduroy. Tactile paving is a ground surface indicator aiding those who are blind or visually impaired to navigate an urban environment. Barface tactile paving provides an excellent anti-slip surface and is ideal for areas with an incline or access ramp. Corduroy tactile paving alerts the blind and visually impaired that a hazard is nearby and is most commonly used at the top and bottom of a flight of steps.

Steps & Treads

Steps & Treads

Steps & Treads

Forest Pennant steps are created to bespoke dimensions and specification requirements; cut using our profiling saws and shaped by our skilled banker masons – available as straight or radial units, in a choice of our Pennant colours and surface finishes and edge detailing. Commercial steps/treads and risers designs are becoming bolder with the inclusion of anti-slip strips, lighting recesses and even artwork, we can accommodate it all, the sky really is the limit with Pennant steps/treads and risers. An alternative to our solid steps, treads & risers can be produced separately for a cost effective solution, and all of the above applications are available in this format.
